Best Ad Spy Tools in 2026

Last verified July 15, 2026. TrendTrack, Minea and AdSpy tested live on paid accounts; PiPiAds, Kalodata, Dropship.io and Winning Hunter checked on their public sites and pricing pages.

Most “best ad spy tool” lists rank software nobody logged into. We did it the other way around.

We ran the paid accounts we had, asked every tool the same five questions, and ranked the field by the job you are hiring it for, not by who pays the biggest commission. The short version: there is no single best ad spy tool, only a best one per channel and per budget.

For ad spy across Meta, TikTok and Google plus Shopify store data, TrendTrack is our overall pick, from $59/mo (ad spy on Pro, $89). For the deepest Facebook and Instagram archive, AdSpy ($149); for TikTok-native selling, PiPiAds (from $49). Match the tool to where you actually run ads.

AdSpy Deep Facebook and Instagram research $149
PiPiAds TikTok-native sellers $49

How we tested

Every tool here got measured against the same four criteria, so the ranking reflects the job, not the marketing page. We held paid accounts on TrendTrack (Agency trial), Minea (Premium) and AdSpy, and checked PiPiAds, Kalodata, Dropship.io and Winning Hunter on their public sites and pricing pages in July 2026.

One honesty note up front: every estimated-revenue figure, ad-spend number and base-size count in this guide is an estimate drawn from public transparency data or a vendor’s own claim, not audited revenue. Treat them as directional. If your budget is zero, the free Google Ads Transparency Center and the Facebook Ad Library are a real starting point before these paid tools.

The 7 best ad spy tools, by use case

We ordered the list by the job, not by price or by star rating. It runs from the widest multi-channel coverage down to the single-channel specialists, so you can jump to the section that matches how you sell.

1. TrendTrack: the multi-channel pick

Meta

Price from $59/mo ($41 annually); ad spy on Pro $89 ($62 annually)
Best for Multi-channel operators who run Meta, TikTok and Google
Free entry Free Chrome extension, no limits, plus a demo
Killer feature Whole-store Brandtracker across Meta, TikTok, Google and emails

TrendTrack is the only tool here that spies on three ad platforms at once. Meta and TikTok have been in for a while, and Google Ads joined as the third platform on July 1, 2026, so a store’s Search and YouTube ads sit next to its Meta and TikTok creatives.

The scale is the headline: 1.87M Shopify stores, 337M+ ads and a 6M-email swipe file, all searchable. Inside the Ads library you can filter by Ad Rank (a winner score TrendTrack shipped on January 29, 2026) and read estimated spend pulled from EU and UK transparency rules. That is the layer free libraries never give you.

The differentiator is the Brandtracker. Point it at a competitor and it follows the whole funnel: every Meta ad, TikTok ads and organic content, Google ads, landing pages, and even video-hook transcripts.

It also reads a store’s estimated revenue per month, which no pure ad library does. On the store side you get 17 filters and an AI image search to find who else sells a product from a screenshot.

Plan check: the Ads and Advertisers modules start on Pro ($89/mo). Starter ($59) covers the Shops database, two Brandtrackers and the free extension, but not ad spy. If ad spy is why you are here, budget for Pro.

TrendTrack Shops module with an Est. Revenue column showing estimated monthly and daily revenue per store
The Shops database indexes over 1.87M stores, with an Est. Revenue column (one store estimated at $3.3M/mo). Estimated, not audited.

Pros

  • Only tool covering Meta, TikTok and Google
  • Whole-store tracking plus estimated revenue
  • Programmable via API and an MCP server

Cons

  • Ad spy gated to Pro, not the $59 Starter
  • No Pinterest coverage
  • Estimated figures are directional, not audited

2. AdSpy: the deepest Facebook and Instagram archive

AdSpy search interface for Facebook and Instagram ads with advertiser, affiliate and demographic filters
AdSpy searches Facebook and Instagram ads by text, advertiser, affiliate network and demographics. Checked July 2026.
Facebook
Instagram
Price from $149/mo, one plan, no annual discount
Best for Deep Facebook and Instagram creative research
Free entry Free trial with limited ad views
Killer feature Search inside the text of ad comments

AdSpy is the veteran, and it goes deep on one thing: Meta. It covers Facebook and Instagram only, from a very large archive it claims runs into the hundreds of millions of ads over more than a decade.

Its standout is searchable ad comments. You can search the actual text people wrote under an ad, which surfaces angles, objections and social proof no other tool exposes. Add filters for advertiser, affiliate network, demographics and CTA, and it is a microscope on Meta.

The trade-offs are the flip side of that focus. There is no Shopify index, no estimated revenue, no email spy, no TikTok or Google, and no cheaper tier: it is $149/mo, flat. For a full breakdown against a broader tool, see our TrendTrack vs AdSpy comparison.

Pros

  • Comment-text search is unique
  • Huge, long-running Meta archive
  • Strong advertiser and demographic filters

Cons

  • Facebook and Instagram only
  • $149/mo with no annual saving
  • No store, email or product data

3. PiPiAds: the TikTok ad-spy specialist

TikTok
Meta family
Price from $49/mo, full ad spy on Advanced $99
Best for TikTok-native sellers and creators
Free entry Free trial with 500 credits
Killer feature The biggest dedicated TikTok ad library

PiPiAds bills itself as the number-one TikTok ads spy tool, and on its home turf that is fair. It has the largest dedicated TikTok ad library, plus coverage of the Facebook and Instagram family, so a TikTok-first seller sees the creatives that matter most.

Pricing runs on a credit model, from $49/mo with fuller access on the Advanced ($99) tier. Where it stops: no Google Ads, no TikTok organic content tracking, and no email spy. If TikTok is your whole world, it is a sharp pick; if you also run Meta and Google, read the TikTok ad-spy comparison first.

Pros: biggest TikTok library, low $49 entry, creator-friendly. Cons: no Google or TikTok organic, metered credits, thin on store data.

4. Kalodata: native TikTok Shop analytics

TikTok Shop
Price from $49.99/mo; Professional $109.99
Best for TikTok Shop sellers and creator scouting
Free entry 7-day free trial, no card
Killer feature Product-level GMV and sales estimates

Kalodata is not really a classic ad spy tool, and that is the point. It is a native TikTok Shop analytics platform, built around product GMV and sales estimates, creator and affiliate discovery with contacts, and livestream performance.

If you sell on TikTok Shop, this is the data other tools do not have: which products move, which creators drive the sales, and how lives convert. Plans run from $49.99/mo (Starter) to $109.99 (Professional), with a 7-day no-card trial.

It does not touch Meta, Google or Shopify stores, so it is a complement, not a replacement. See how the coverage splits in our TikTok Shop analytics head-to-head.

Pros: native TikTok Shop GMV, creator contacts, livestream data. Cons: TikTok Shop only, no Meta or Google, no Shopify index.

5. Minea: ad spy plus product discovery

Minea Meta Ads Library browsing ads from Meta and TikTok with EU reach and spend filters
Minea browses 100M+ ads across Meta and TikTok, with EU reach and spend filters on the left. Checked July 2026.
Meta
TikTok
Price from $49/mo (Premium $99, Business $199)
Best for Product discovery on a smaller budget
Free entry Demo, plus a free .Store domain on all plans
Killer feature Curated product discovery plus image search

Minea covers Meta and TikTok ads (100M+, its claim) and pairs them with a product-discovery feed and a Magic image search. It leans toward the seller who wants to be handed winning products, not just raw ads.

Watch the gating. Minea’s Starter is $49, but the Shops database and brand tracker only unlock on Premium ($99), so the plan that matches a real ad-spy workflow is the middle one.

There is no Google, no email spy and no TikTok organic. Our TrendTrack vs Minea comparison maps the overlap.

Pros: strong product discovery, image search, friendly entry price. Cons: stores gated to $99, no Google, no email or TikTok organic.

6. Dropship.io: budget Shopify research with Facebook ad spy

Facebook
Price from $39/mo ($26 annually); Standard $59, Premium $99
Best for Budget Shopify product research
Free entry Free trial plus a Chrome extension
Killer feature Facebook ad spy included from the $39 plan

Dropship.io is the closest look-alike to TrendTrack on paper: a Shopify store index, estimated revenue, product research, a Facebook ad library, an advertiser database, image search and an extension. The split shows up the moment you look past Facebook.

Its real edge is price. Facebook ad spy is included from the Basic $39 plan ($26 billed annually), where TrendTrack gates ad spy to Pro $89.

Dropship.io also adds TikTok Shop sales data and a creator database (350k+ creators, claimed). What it lacks: Google Ads and TikTok ad-creative spy. The full side-by-side is in our closest-look-alike comparison.

Pros: cheapest entry with ad spy included, solid Shopify data, TikTok Shop sales. Cons: Facebook only for ad creatives, no Google, no TikTok ad library.

7. Winning Hunter: Pinterest and AI creative research

Winning Hunter pricing plans Basic 49, Standard 79 and Enterprise 249 dollars with Pinterest ads listed
Winning Hunter’s plans: Basic $49, Standard $79 and Enterprise $249, with Pinterest ads from the Standard tier. Checked July 2026.
Facebook
TikTok
Pinterest
Price from $49/mo; Standard $79 (adds Pinterest), Enterprise $249
Best for Pinterest coverage and creative angles
Free entry Free trial, no card
Killer feature Pinterest ads plus Magic AI creative analysis

Winning Hunter covers Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest, and the Pinterest coverage is a genuine edge: none of the other tools here spy on it. Its Magic AI reads creatives for saturation and angles, and it leans product-first with importing tools and a no-card trial.

Pricing starts at Basic $49, with Pinterest arriving on Standard $79 and a top Enterprise plan at $249. There is no Google Ads coverage. If Pinterest or AI-led creative research is your reason to buy, it earns the shortlist; see the full TrendTrack vs Winning Hunter breakdown.

Pros: only tool here with Pinterest, AI creative analysis, no-card trial. Cons: no Google, Pinterest needs the $79 tier, lighter store data.

Full comparison

Tool Ad platforms From /mo Google Ads Killer feature
TrendTrack Meta, TikTok, Google $59 (spy $89) Yes Whole-store tracking
AdSpy Facebook, Instagram $149 No Comment-text search
PiPiAds TikTok, Meta family $49 No Biggest TikTok library
Kalodata TikTok Shop $49.99 No TikTok Shop GMV data
Minea Meta, TikTok $49 No Product discovery feed
Dropship.io Facebook $39 No Cheap ad spy plus store data
Winning Hunter Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest $49 No Pinterest plus AI creative analysis

Read the table by your channel first, then your budget. Google Ads is the cleanest divider: only TrendTrack covers it, so if Search and YouTube spying matters, the list is short. Everywhere else, the cheapest entry is Dropship.io at $39 with Facebook ad spy included, and the deepest single-channel tool is AdSpy on Meta.

How to choose the right ad spy tool

The decision comes down to two questions: which platforms do you actually advertise on, and how deep do you need to go beyond the raw ad? Your channel picks the tool more than your budget does.

Multi-channel operator
TrendTrack
Meta, TikTok and Google in one tab.

Facebook-deep researcher
AdSpy
Comment search and a decade of Meta ads.

TikTok-native seller
PiPiAds
The biggest dedicated TikTok library.

TikTok Shop seller
Kalodata
Product GMV, creators and lives.

Budget product research
Dropship.io
Store data plus ad spy from $39.

Pinterest or creative angles
Winning Hunter
The only Pinterest coverage here.

If you run ads on more than one platform, or you want the store and revenue context around each ad, TrendTrack’s multi-channel coverage is the safest default, as long as you plan for the Pro plan where ad spy unlocks. If you live on a single channel, the specialist there often reads deeper for less.

FAQ

What is the best ad spy tool in 2026?

There is no single winner, the best tool depends on your channel. For multi-platform ad spy across Meta, TikTok and Google plus Shopify store data, TrendTrack is our overall pick, from $59/mo (ad spy unlocks on Pro, $89/mo).

If you live inside Facebook and Instagram, AdSpy ($149/mo) has the deepest archive and searchable comments. For TikTok-native sellers, PiPiAds (from $49/mo) owns the biggest TikTok ad library. Match the tool to where you actually run ads.

Is there a free ad spy tool?

Yes, a few. Facebook Ad Library and the Google Ads Transparency Center are free and show live ads, and TrendTrack’s Chrome extension is free for everyone.

The catch is they show you the ads, not which ones are winning, how long they have run, or estimated spend. Most paid tools also offer a free trial or demo, so you can test the depth before you pay. For dropshipping research at scale, the free libraries are a starting point, not a full workflow.

Which ad spy tool covers Google Ads?

Among the tools here, TrendTrack is the one that spies on Google Ads, added as a third platform on July 1, 2026, so a store’s Google ads sit next to its Meta and TikTok ones.

AdSpy (Facebook and Instagram), PiPiAds and Minea (Meta and TikTok), Kalodata (TikTok Shop), Dropship.io (Facebook) and Winning Hunter (Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest) do not cover Google Ads. If Google is a channel you care about, that narrows the list fast.

What is the cheapest ad spy tool?

At the door, Dropship.io is cheapest with ad spy built in: its Basic plan is $39/mo ($26/mo billed annually) and includes the Facebook Ad Library. Minea, PiPiAds and Winning Hunter start around $49/mo.

TrendTrack’s entry is $59/mo, but note its Ads module unlocks on Pro ($89), so ad spy specifically is not the cheapest there. Cheapest is not the same as best value: check which platforms and data each entry plan actually includes.

Do I need a paid ad spy tool, or is Facebook Ad Library enough?

Facebook Ad Library is genuinely useful and free, but it only shows you the raw ads. It does not rank which creatives are winning, estimate spend, track a store’s whole funnel over time, or let you filter across millions of stores.

Paid tools add that layer: Ad Rank, estimated spend from EU and UK transparency data, longest-running ads, and cross-store search. If you run ads seriously and scout products weekly, a paid tool pays for the time it saves. If you check occasionally, start free.

The bottom line

Pick by the channel you sell on, not by the star rating. If you run ads across Meta, TikTok and Google and want the store context around them, TrendTrack is the widest net and our overall pick. If you go deep on one platform, the specialist there often reads further for less: AdSpy on Meta, PiPiAds on TikTok, Kalodata on TikTok Shop.

Whichever you choose, start from the free trial or extension, run your real competitors through it for a week, and keep the one that saves you the most time. Estimated numbers are directional on every tool here, so trust the workflow, not the exact dollar figure.

Want one tab for Meta, TikTok and Google?

TrendTrack ranks ads across all three platforms, estimates competitor spend, and tracks a store’s whole funnel. Start free with the Chrome extension; ad spy unlocks on Pro ($89/mo, or $62/mo billed annually). Starter ($59) covers the Shops database.
